Mamadu Cirem Djabi
A. M. Djabi
Born in Bissau, the capital of Guinea-Bissau, Mamadu Djabi emigrated to Portugal as a child.
His academic career was developed in Portugal, with a degree in Economics from the University of Beira Interior, where he began his professional career in the area of insurance, having then transitioned to the banking sector and assumed a financial position at Portugal Telecom in 2010.
With a brief stay in England between 2010 and 2011, here he worked as a logistics operator, he returned to Bissau in 2012 where assumed different positions at the National Council of Shippers between that year and 2020.
In 2016, he opens his own company AM DJABI, SARL through which he buys and sells cashew nuts.
Since 2015, he has also been a professor at the Lusophone University of Guinea-Bissau and since 2018, a teacher at the Nova Esperança Polytechnic Institute (IPNOVE).
Since 2022 he is General Director of the Microfinance Promotion Agency in Bissau.
